Meet D. Dewayne Kemp
Bishop D. Dewayne Kemp is the Founder and Visionary of the Fountain of Love Fellowship, where he serves as its duly consecrated Bishop. The fellowship was birthed out of his passion to provide a safe place for spiritual leaders to connect, fellowship, grow in their gifts, and fulfill their God-given assignments. Bishop Kemp is also the Founder and Senior Leader of The Church of Greater Love, where he has faithfully served in pastoral ministry for over 18 years. His commitment to outreach and community development spans more than 25 years.
A country boy at heart, Bishop Kemp grew up in southern Georgia, where shelling peas, shucking corn, and picking blueberries were part of his upbringing. Those humble beginnings helped shape his appreciation for hard work, family, faith, and serving others. Affectionately known as "Apostle D," he treasures the love and joy he shares with his children, grandchildren, and a host of godchildren.
Bishop Kemp has a genuine heart for people and finds great fulfillment in helping and being a blessing to others. His passion for ministry extends beyond the pulpit, as he is deeply committed to cultivating, mentoring, and empowering leaders to discover their purpose, embrace their calling, and maximize their God-given potential. He believes that effective leadership is rooted in humility, servanthood, integrity, and a sincere love for God's people.
Bishop Kemp earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Colorado Christian University and is currently pursuing further studies in Christian Counseling. In addition to his ministerial experience, he brings more than 25 years of management and administrative leadership experience across government and nonprofit sectors. His professional background, coupled with his heart for ministry, has equipped him to serve both the church and the broader community with wisdom, compassion, and excellence.
